We’ve hosted a single traveler for 4 days from Australia.
She is a mother, raising her 4 year old girl.
Her trip is kind of pampering or unwinding herself without her daughter.
Surprisingly, her total stay in Japan is more than 2 weeks.
She is a big fan of Japan and she has some Japanese friends.
Also, she studies Japanese language along with its characters as well.
She fully enjoyed Kyoto such as attending for a Gion walking tour, having tea with Maiko at a tea house and lots of shopping.
Actually, I helped her for delivering her items to a post office. She made a Christmas gift box for her daughter which consists of Japanese snacks, dolls, Kimono and so on.
Her daughter must be surprised and I can imagine that she will wear a big smile on her face.
But I felt something weird that Christmas in Australia is in Hot Summer!
As a matter of fact, she feels lonely because she is travelling alone.
However, she couldn’t feel like that at all during her stay with us because she feels like our inn is her home too and we are very happy to hear that.
And what funny thing is she is coming back to Japan soon for her favorite Japanese rock band “ L’Arc-en-Ciel “‘s concert in next January.
