Golden week was really for Japanese here at Kyo-Anthu Inn.
I still have many guests to extend my gratitude and I want to write the experiences with them in our blog. Sorry for the late update.
This couple booked our Inn through Airbnb (booking site). We usually don’t have Japanese travelers from the site.
So , it’s a rare case but I can tell this is a smart way having Air bnb and Japanese guests could find the best price of accommodations especially on this peak season.
This Japanese couple went to Osaka and then came to Kyoto for sightseeing for 2 days.
However, everywhere were crowded in Kyoto at that time. They lined up for 1 hour to eat Udon(Japanese noodles) at the restaurant where they wanted to go.
That’s was ridiculous waiting time!
So, I recommend them to make a reservation next time and gave them a couple of delicious restaurant’s list.
On their check out day, I also gave them a special information which is a tour package such as visiting 3 temples at our neighborhood Higashiyama district temple s and choose the favorite color of stamp book. So they can collect black ink stamps of temples.
This is the limited time and it is in Higashiyama district only!
The price is just 1,200yen including 3 temples admission fee and stamp book with those temples original stamps.
I think it’s worth to buy it!
