Sakura trees are very beautiful and it ‘s a symbol of Japan!
However, Japan has another beautiful tree to be proud of and that is a plum trees.
Today, I’m going to introduce our neighborhood temple Chishakuin which is the best spot for seeing plum trees.
We call plum as “Ume” and starts blooming every February before spring time.
I like visiting this temple because of its serenity and I had met some unexpected events such as Maiko and Geiko photo session and
striking their huge bell on the last New Year’s Eve.
And this time, I found out a very unique ume flower here with different color combination like pink and white color on the same tree.
There might be something good happening today.
I feel like this temple is a kind of my good fortune place.
I would also recommend the delicious plum wine “ Umeshu” in Japan.
But please do not eat the ume flower after picking from the trees or else you’ll have stomachache.
Just enjoy the beauty of Ume flowers and smell their good aroma.
