After the New Year’s Day, we’ve hosted a family from Singapore.
They enjoyed skiing in Nagano before coming to Kyoto. I’m surprised that they could ski since they live in a warm country and I think skiing is not their major sport in Singapore.
They also climbed on a mountain to see wild monkeys in a hot spring.
Actually, I’ve always wanted to go there since I’ve heard this place from my Canadian friend.
What a funny thing, tourists have more information about best spots in Japan than local Japanese people and I always learn something new from them.
As for their stay in Kyoto, they visited Kinkakuji temple, Arashiyama and Nishiki market.
They also enjoyed our Japanese local food. I helped them to make a reservation for Okonomiyaki restaurant.
But the biggest help for them was taking care of their daughter’s Iphone that left on a train after they checked out.
They asked me to inquire it to the lost and found center.
Fortunately, lost and found center will send it to my Inn since they are already flying back to Singapore.
The greatest character of being a Japanese is that no one steal and I could return her I-phone then.
Coincidentally, the family found a Japanese friend traveling in Japan now and going back to Singapore soon so I hand in the I-phone as soon as possible.
I hope the daughter will receive it soon!
Thank you for staying with us for 3 days, Baragona family and we appreciated that you gave us such a nice gift.
This would be the best gift for us since it is Manekineko (fortune cat) which brings prosperity in business.
It is said that the Fortune Cat with its left paw being raised brings a thousand customersand with it’s right paw brings a fortune of money.
🐈♡
We hope the cat will bring many guests including a repeated guest like you.
Looking forward to having your family again!
