We’ve hosted a respectable French gentleman named Michel.
Surprisingly, this was his 5th times visiting Japan.
He had stayed in Tokyo for 4 days and 2 days in our inn here in Kyoto.

He is the manager of a translator company handling 4 languages!!
Very cool!
And this time he is coming to attend their annual reunion party.
According to him, that party is an international so I’m sure he could use his language abilities in the party.

The funniest story that I’ve heard from him was about his tour in Samurai performance.
I didn’t know that Samurai is still existed in Japan.
Anyway, the Samurai whom Michel saw was very old which is about 90 years old.
During their reunion, he showed his swordplay in front of his fellows.
However , he failed to cut an apple up in the air a couple of times…..and trying to slice an apple on somebody ‘s belly.
I think it’s very dangerous to volunteer for his show! Lol
But Michel said he used to have a great Samurai skills because he is still famous now.

I really enjoyed chatting with him and I was happy that I could have lunch together before he was leaving.
He was our valuable guest but now he became one of my friends.

Mr. Michel ,
thank you so much for your stay and looking forward to having you again on your sixth trip in Japan.
