In many parts of Japan, we celebrated an annual event called Setsubun and it is held every 3rd of February.
Setsubun means bean-throwing festival and it is held in different temples and shrines.
In this festival , people witness the Oni (ogre) dance and after dancing the monks throw beans to the audience to expel evil spirits and bring in the good luck in people’s lives.
Why don’t you like to go to the temple called “Rozanji” for witnessing the unique Oni(ogre)dance next year ?
This is one of the finest traditional beliefs in Japan.
We are hoping to meet you the next Setsubun festival next year!
