Kyoto is normally very hot in the summer since it is surrounded by mountains.
However this summer is exceptionally hot about 36- 38 degree these days more than that of Thailand.
(I used to work in Thailand, so I’ve gained the habit of checking and comparing the temperature between two countries. lol)
So the construction of the guest house is a bit behind schedule.
Speaking of July in Kyoto, the Gion festival takes place which is the most famous summer festival in Kyoto. You may feel cool if you hear the traditional Gion Bayashi music.
