Finally, our home-stayed guest Tariq checked out on February 25th, after staying here with us for a month.
We have lots of fun memories but I’m going to share one of the best stories to everyone.
Tariq has been always wanting to use Japanese nickname somehow.
I know many non-Japanese put some Japanese names on their social media account, especially people who are studying Japanese.
Maybe because Kanji character or Japanese language sounds very cool for them!?
As for Tariq , he wanted also to use some family names such as Suzuki, Yamada, Sasaki ….(something like that).
Those are very common Japanese family names and you will see them every where in Japan.
So, we suggested him to have more rare ones which would be more cool.
However, Tariq has no idea so we didn’t have any choice but to let him use our family name “Kachi” . Lol
He is so happy and actually there are only 7 Kachi family live in Kyoto including one of our cousin.
During his one month stay with us, he is becoming like our family members.
We will miss Tariq from tomorrow but this is not goodbye as forever since he still lives in Tokyo , Japan for 3 years more.
He left a sweet letter for us under his pillow and it says
“ Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I will come back soon!
From Tariq Kachi”

Have a safe flight back to Saudi Arabia and come back soon to Japan before Hanami seasons.
